Archangel Michael's hierolatry

It had origin in East. The emperor Constantine 1st since 313 A.D. had a particular devotion till to dedicate him the Micheleion, a massive sanctuary built up at Constantinople, but the whole East was rich of famous sanctuaries where chiliads of pilgrims went from any regions of the immense Byzantine empire and as there were many hierolatry places so also his celebration came in many different calendar days. Even the huge river Nile was put under His protection. Let's think about funerary church of Kremlin at Moscow in Russia which is dedicated to St. Michael. Briefly there is no East and North Africa State witch has no objects, steles, documents, holy edifices to testimony the deep veneration for the holy commander of angels, especially in the first Centuries of Church.
In West there are testimonies of a hierolatry, with multitudinous churches dedicated to St. Angel sometimes and sometimes to St. Michael and also places and mountains were named Mont. St. Angel or Mont. St. Michel, as the famous sanctuary and monastery in Normandy, in France, to which the hierolatry was spreaded by Celts on the coast of Normandy. It's sure that it spreaded in the Lombard world fastly, in the Carolingian state and in the Roman Empire.
